Program Overview

The Automated Manufacturing/Engineering Tech Program offers a sequence of courses which are designed to prepare individuals for employment in various manufacturing environments. Courses are offered two evenings per week from 6-9pm. While individuals are encouraged to complete the entire sequence of courses and earn the AMET one or two year certificate, a course may be taken as an individual stand alone course.

Career Opportunities

The employers that are partnering in this course with TCT will be hiring graduates from the program upon completion. There is also the potential for some part-time employment while completing the course.

Program Length

  • First Year AMET Certificate – 225 hours
  • Second Year AMET Certificate – 285 hours
  • Flex Program for Working Adults – 450 hours


The course will be held two nights per week for the duration. This will be a blended learning course, meaning there will be face-to-face instruction, online learning, as well as a significant amount of lab and hands-on learning.

Flex Program – Tuesdays and Thursdays, 6-9pm.
