Incidents as varied as automobile accidents, heart attacks, drownings, childbirth, and gunshot wounds all require immediate medical attention. EMTs and paramedics provide this vital attention as they care for and transport the sick or injured to a medical facility.
Clinical training through Bartlesville Ambulance and Jane Phillips Medical Center Emergency Room is included in the course. Upon completion of the training, students are expected to complete the state EMT Certification Test.
Students must provide TB skin test results that will remain current for the duration of the program, a current shot record, and a new OSBI check.
