As a person ages, there are changes in bodily organs and structures. The way diseases present may be quite different for an older adult. This series of courses examines body organ systems, relating what is normal or abnormal for an older adult.
In our second session, we will review oropharyngeal and gastrointestinal system changes. This will include mouth, throat, esophagus, stomach, and intestines. Students will also explore cardiovascular system changes and pulmonary system changes.
