Teen Cooking: Chinese (ages 13-17)


Course Description

In this class students will take a field trip through China! This class introduces youth to the pleasures of preparing and enjoying “real food” that is both nutritious and delicious. Students learn basic cooking skills, the joy of eating and cooking with fresh fruits and vegetables in a delicious stir fried rice recipe! They will learn to slice and dice and mix colors and flavors of a variety of foods. In true Chinese fashion students will also make fresh almond cookies and learn to work with Wonton dough and make an egg drop soup that is the perfect consistency.
