Cosmetologists perform a variety of services which cover all phases of the beauty culture. The Cosmetology program will prepare you for an exciting career utilizing your own creativity and entrepreneurial skills. This will include nail services (manicuring, pedicuring, and acrylics enhancements), skin services (facials, makeup, and hair removal), and hair services (hair cutting, styling, and chemical services). Cosmetologists often specialize in one or more of these areas. The cosmetology industry has evolved into an increasingly complex and artistic profession. Strong human relations skills and the ability to communicate with people are of major importance. The hands-on instruction combined with the practical experience with live clients in our on-site, appointment-based salon helps each student become prepared to take the State Board of Cosmetology Licensing exam.
