Tri County Tech offers formal training and guidance for students to complete the necessary steps to receive their CDA certification. This 16-week course will train students in child safety and health, designing proper learning environments, child growth and development, involving families and the community, program planning, record keeping, developing as a professional, and putting together a portfolio.

Following The Pathway to a National Credential for Child Care Professionals Curriculum will allow you to apply for the Scholars for Excellence in Child Care. The Scholars program awards scholarships to eligible child care professionals to complete coursework in the area of child development or early childhood education, as well as the Child Development Associate (CDA) and Certified Childcare Professional (CCP) Credential Assessment. These scholarships enable child care providers in Oklahoma to improve their skills through education, receive an educational stipend and continue the availability of quality child care in local communities.
