Program Overview
Advance your EMT skills and take the next step in emergency care.
The Advanced Emergency Medical Technician (AEMT) program builds on your EMT training and prepares you to provide a higher level of patient care in emergency situations. In this hands-on program, you’ll expand your skills in patient assessment, advanced airway management, medication administration, and emergency interventions.
Students gain real-world training used in ambulance services and emergency response teams, developing the confidence and ability to handle more complex medical situations. This program prepares you for AEMT certification and helps you advance your career in emergency medical services.
Students will be required to complete a minimum of 140 clinical hours in addition to the 180-hour class. Additional costs may include books, PPD, drug screening, black EMS uniform pants, black boots, and other supplies.
This Program Is Perfect For Students Who:
- Are currently certified EMTs and want to advance their skills
- Want to increase their responsibilities in emergency care
