Program Overview
Master stick welding—the go-to skill for construction, repair, and heavy-duty work.
The Stick Welding (SMAW) course provides hands-on training in one of the most versatile and widely used welding processes. Designed for adult learners, this program teaches you how to safely set up and operate welding equipment while developing the skills needed for strong, durable welds in real-world conditions.
Students learn essential techniques for working with different metals, electrode selection, and proper welding positions. You’ll also gain experience in joint preparation, bead placement, and weld inspection—building the foundation needed for entry-level welding jobs or advancing your skills in the trades.
This course, part 1 and part 2, offers an in-depth introduction to Shielded Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), commonly known as stick welding. This course is ideal for those looking to start a welding career or strengthen their abilities for construction, repair, or industrial work.
