Program Overview

Train to diagnose, repair, and maintain today’s high-tech vehicles.

The Automotive Service Technology program prepares you for a career working on modern vehicles using professional tools and diagnostic equipment. In this hands-on program, you’ll learn how to inspect, diagnose, and repair engines, brakes, electrical systems, and computerized vehicle systems.

Auto Service offers a hands-on experience, including live-work projects and specialized tools that will prepare you for the A.S.E Certification exam. Upon completion of the program, graduates will have gained one year of relevant work experience. This program helps you build job-ready skills so you can start a career in automotive service without spending years in school.

This Program Is Perfect For Students Who:

  • Enjoy working on cars and understanding how they work
  • Like solving problems and troubleshooting issues
  • Want a hands-on career instead of sitting in a classroom
  • Are interested in automotive or mechanical careers
  • Want to build a skill they can use right away

“I love how it is almost like a puzzle. Putting stuff back together is a good way to pass the time and focus.”
