The Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) program prepares you to take action in emergency situations and provide immediate care until advanced medical help arrives. In this hands-on program, you’ll learn how to assess patients, respond to medical emergencies, and provide basic lifesaving care in real-world scenarios.
Students develop the skills needed to support emergency response teams in roles such as fire departments, law enforcement, and workplace safety. This program is a great starting point for those interested in EMS, firefighting, or other public safety careers. Upon successful completion, students may earn national certification. No prior medical experience required.
