Program Overview
Become an LPN at your own pace!
Our hybrid Practical Nursing program is designed for flexibility, allowing working adults to progress at their own pace. This hybrid program features self-directed online coursework paired with in‑person clinicals, skills labs, and instructor‑supervised check‑offs. Students can complete the program in 12 or 18 months.
While most coursework is completed online, students are required to attend a scheduled weekly on-campus session (up to 3 hours) to support progress and engagement with faculty. Additional in-person time will also be required for hands-on skill development, clinical check-offs, or lab-based instruction. With small class sizes and one-on-one faculty support, students receive mentorship, clinical guidance, and academic coaching throughout the program. Exams and skill check-offs are self-scheduled, giving students the freedom to move through the curriculum efficiently and graduate as soon as they meet all requirements.
Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the National Council of State Boards Licensing Exam to become a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). The program is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN).
“After graduating from the Nursing Assistant program, I went on to the Practical Nursing program. From the clinical programs to simulation labs to discussions, you learn everything you need to know to grow as a future nurse and person. Programs like Tri County Tech will leave a lasting impact on you as a person, and as a future employee.”
