Program Overview
Turn your passion for food into professional culinary skills.
The Culinary Arts program teaches students the techniques used in professional kitchens. Students learn food preparation, cooking methods, kitchen safety, nutrition, and menu planning while working in a commercial kitchen environment. The student-assisted Osage Market provides a realistic work environment and an opportunity to apply what you have learned in the classroom. You will work in rotating stations such as bakery, hot food prep, cold foods, grill, cash register, steward, catering, and dish room. Hands-on experience prepares students for careers in restaurants, catering, and hospitality.
