High School Enrollment

Explore and Jump-Start Your Future

At Tri County Tech, successful futures are built by driven students and instructors that challenge them to be the best they can be. Students gain skills taught in the classroom, but also the skills necessary to thrive in the workforce or higher education.

Our programs are FREE to high school juniors and seniors* who live within the Tri County district which include: Barnsdall, Bartlesville, Caney Valley, Copan, Dewey, Pawhuska, Nowata, Oklahoma Union, South Coffeyville, Wesleyan Christian School, and Wynona. We also serve homeschool and virtual students.

Students have the option to complete a one-year certification or a two-year diploma. Upon completion of the program, students are prepared to enter the workforce or continue their education. High School credit is received from elective credit to math, science, or computer credit.

How to Apply:

Early in the spring semester, we visit our partner high schools and spread the word with homeschool group counselors that application season is open. We share about our great programs and help over 500 students with their applications.

The easy online application should take about 15 minutes. Students enter contact information, guardian information, and select two programs they would like to attend. They’ll also answer three questions about the programs to ensure their program choices are a great fit. The student’s home school counselor will provide us with students’ transcripts, and we’ll use the application and transcript to score☨ students for admission. Students must achieve at least 50% of the possible points to be considered for enrollment. If students miss application day at their high school, they can reach out to their counselor or us!

By the end of April, application status updates (“accepted,” “waitlist,” & “try again next year”) are sent to students. Accepted students will be sent enrollment finalization documents they must return to secure their spot in the program. A lot can happen between April and August! We’ll continue to receive new applications and move students from the waitlist to accepted as spots open.

Students and parents are more than welcome to make appointments to chat with us at Tri County Tech or schedule a Zoom call. We’re here to help!
