Nursing Assistant

*Must complete as a Junior in High School.

Tri County Tech’s Nursing Assistant program allows you to put your best foot forward into a rewarding healthcare career. The one-year program has been developed, in cooperation with medical professionals, to educate students with clinical experiences. You will have hands-on training as a High School Junior to become a certified nursing assistant. Upon the completion of the program, you will be qualified to take the state certification exam necessary for entry-level employment as a CNA. The Program focuses on the study of medical terminology, infection control, medical law and ethics, vital signs, CPR, first aid, and employability skills.

Tailored for high school seniors who have completed our Nursing Assistant program and are eager to fast-track their entry into Practical Nursing. This one-year program, developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals, offers hands-on clinical experience and saves you over $1,000 compared to traditional routes. Graduate equipped with practical skills, ready to excel in diverse healthcare settings. * Upon completion, students can apply 810 hours towards the required 1463 hours in our Adult Practical Nursing program.
