About the Foundation

Our History

In 1969, three short years after the establishment of Tri County Vocational School, District #1, the Tri County Vo-Tech Foundation was established. Initially, the Foundation focused on providing funds to students enrolling in the Nursing Education program.

Over the years, The Tri County Tech Foundation has evolved to include a much larger student population. Foundation assistance is available to students currently enrolled in our Full Time & Flex classes and some Fast Track Classes. We assist in-need and qualifying students in three critical areas: Tuition Assistance, Emergency Aid, and Food Assistance.

“Thank you so much for the emergency assistance grant and gas card. You have helped me stay in school and continue to live in my apartment. I feel truly blessed to attend such an amazing school.”

Chelsea | Foundation Recipient

Today, the Tri County Tech Foundation has a phenomenal commitment from TCT staff members, with 100% of TCT staff contributing over $60,000 annually to the Foundation. This internal commitment demonstrates the strong belief in the good that the Foundation is doing. Among staff members, this commitment is seen as providing a better future for generations to come.
