TCT & OKWU Partnership

Oklahoma Wesleyan University and Tri County Tech are committed to providing high-quality educational programs to our students. Because we have different but complementary missions, OKWU and Tri County Tech have partnered and expanded our efforts to make a college degree more attainable and affordable for Tri County Tech graduates.

College Credit – Full Time Programs

Tri County Tech graduates of high school programs, adult full-time programs, or of previous diploma option programs that are no longer offered can apply up to 30 credit hours of general elective and major credit toward the OKWU Associate in Applied Science (AAS) in Technical Programs degree OR up to 40 credit hours of general elective credit towards any Bachelor’s degree at OKWU. OKWU will only apply credits needed for the degree the student is seeking.

College Credit – Flex Programs

In addition to the above credit options, this agreement will also offer up to 15 credit hours for graduates from most adult flex programs. OKWU will only apply credits needed for the degree the student is seeking.

College Credit Qualifications

The acceptance of credit from Tri County Tech to Oklahoma Wesleyan University is determinate upon the evaluation and approval of official transcripts by the Registrars Office at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. Tuition Scholarship Agreement

Current students and graduates of Tri County Tech are eligible for a 50% tuition scholarship for one-degree programs (or partial programs if seeking degree completion). The scholarship only applies to tuition and may not be combined with any other discount or scholarship offered by OKWU. The tuition scholarship is available for both Associate’s or Bachelor’s degrees offered by Graduate & Professional Studies (GPS). Scholarships are awarded once all paperwork has been submitted to OKWU.
