“The hands-on training, as well as the bookwork that was provided while I attended are very very useful in my career as an Early Child Educator now! To qualify, complete coursework in child development or early childhood education, as well as the Child Development Associate (CDA) and Certified Childcare Professional (CCP) Credential Assessment. This offers childcare providers in Oklahoma the opportunity to improve their skills through education. It’s also an opportunity to receive an educational stipend and continue the availability of quality child care in local communities. Requires an additional 480 hours working with children in specific CDA age groups (infant/toddler or preschool) and a $425 application and testing fee.
