Program Overview
Ignite your passion and watch as it burns to a successful career. In Tri County Tech’s Applied Welding Technology program, you will learn various welding techniques and procedures, giving you a masterful touch in this highly valued craft. The program will focus on techniques such as arc welding (SMAW), gas metal (GMAW) & tungsten arc welding (GTAW), and oxy-fuel cutting.
Take the first steps to become a shop supervisor by learning proper shop organization and blueprint reading. Applied Welding Technology will have you ready to earn a certification in Stick, TIG, and MIG welding, allowing higher starting pay and a headstart to a fiery career.
