Potter Family Sapphire Legacy Scholarship Endowment
The Tri County Tech Foundation announces a Sapphire Legacy Scholarship endowment from Dorea & Kevin Potter
The Tri County Tech Foundation is proud to announce the establishment of the Potter Family Sapphire Legacy Scholarship endowment. This significant contribution by the Potters will ensure the provision of a scholarship in their name every year, making a lasting impact on the lives of deserving students.
Kevin Potter, Chair of the Tri County Tech Foundation Board, and Dorea, who serves on the Tri County Tech Board of Education, exemplify an extraordinary commitment to enhancing the quality of life in our community. Their positive impact on our organization and the lives of those we serve is immeasurable, and we are fortunate to have them as part of our team.
“We appreciate their service and look forward to their continued guidance as we move into 2023-2024,” says Kim Smith, Tri County Tech Chief Administrative Officer & Foundation Executive Director.
The mission of the Tri County Tech Foundation is to extend the reach of Tri County Tech and ensure no student is denied an education due to the lack of funds. Endowed funds continue in perpetuity, are never reduced, and scholarships are granted to qualifying students from the interest earnings. Endowments are essential to Tri County Tech Foundation’s growth and sustainability. Our endowment goal of $5 million is crucial to guarantee that all students can pursue their educational goals without financial constraints.
