Practical Nursing

Program Overview

The Tri County Tech Practical Nursing program prepares adult students for an exciting career as a Licensed Practical Nurse. If you have a passion for helping others, nursing may be a professional career for you. In this 11-month program, students learn nursing skills through classroom theory and clinical application. Students rotate through clinical settings such as hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, and long-term care facilities. We accept 22 students each semester.

Graduates of the program are eligible to sit for the National Council of State Boards Licensing Exam to become an LPN. The program is approved by the Oklahoma Board of Nursing and accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN). This path will allow you to make a difference in someone’s life.

“Getting into nursing school and getting my LPN through TCT was a defining moment of my life. Thanks to TCT I now have an LPN license, make more money than I’ve ever made, and I’m debt free after completing my degree!” – Malori T., 2019
