Teacher Prep

Program Overview

Explore one of the most fulfilling fields and directly impact young students with Tri County Tech’s Teacher Prep Program! Explore human growth and development, learn instructional methods, and master classroom management. Our specialized classroom mimics a real classroom environment, preparing you for a six-week internship that offers a hands-on opportunity to work with students in a classroom setting. Upon completion of the program, you will be ready to take the Education Fundamentals Assessment and the Praxis Parapro. This will allow you to begin working immediately in a classroom setting or give an early advantage for acceptance into a college education program.

“My goal is to become a teacher, and Tri County Tech has a great Teacher Prep Program with a great instructor.” – Olivia W., 2019
