Culinary Arts

Program Overview

The Hospitality Industry is one of the nation’s largest employers offering many employment opportunities; from high-end restaurants to cruise ships, the possibilities are endless. Expand your palate in the Culinary Arts program where you will work in a tasteful environment, giving you first-hand experience in a commercial kitchen. The student-operated Osage Market provides a realistic work environment and an opportunity to apply what you have learned in the classroom. You will work in rotating stations such as bakery, hot food prep, cold foods, grill, cash register, steward, catering, and dish room.

“I love the more professional, business like atmosphere in the Culinary Program and the team work that we all pull together and participate in” – Chris M., 2018

Financial Assistance

Financial assistance is available through the Tri County Tech Foundation for Full Time & Flex programs, as well as some Fast Track programs. After you are accepted into a program, you will receive a financial assistance application. The form must be filled out and turned in with the most recent two months of pay stubs for every working member of your household.

Our main goal for financial assistance at Tri County Tech is to provide assistance for financially disadvantaged students who would be unable to get the education they deserve. Assistance consists of grants, scholarships, and employment. An individual might participate in one or more resources, depending upon eligibility and need.

We do not accept funds from FAFSA or PELL.
